In a pan, fry garlic and dried shrimps under medium heat until fragrant. Add mushrooms and hairy gourd. Stir-fry until the hairy gourd turns soft. Add light soy sauce and salt and pour the water over the long beans. Mix well.
Saute dried shrimps and mushrooms in 2 tbsp oil. Add hairy gourd and stir well. Add sauce mix to hairy gourd. Cover and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes until hairy gourd is tender. Stir in bean vermicelli and cook until sauce thickens.
