Siopao is a kind of steamed buns that is a popular Filipino food especially for people on the go. It is filled with meat and there are usually 2 kinds to choose from. Asado or Bola-bola.
Asado can be either chicken or pork with Asado sauce while Bola-bola is with pork meatball. A special Bola-bola siopao may have chorizo and salted egg.
It is usually sold in Chinese restaurants, as they were the ones who introduced Siopao to us. But Siopao can easily be seen sold along the streets and many food stands.
